There was an almost 2-year gap between season one”s last episode and season 2″s premiere. Plus, there is an upcoming anime film that will release in fall 2022. Hence, the third season will most likely release in 2023.

What Is The Plot Of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”?
In the final episode of season 2 titled “Octagram,” we see Rimuru in his last battle against the demon lord Clayman. Clayman has acquired new powers after achieving an awakening, making him even more dangerous.
Nonetheless, the episode ends on a positive note with Rimuru winning the battle.
If season 3 gets a green light, we expect it to pick up after the events of the epic battle, assuming that the upcoming movie will be an original story and not a sequel.

Who Is Cast In “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Season 3?
There was only a change in the director”s chair between the two seasons, but the rest of the cast remained on board. Atsushi Nakayama replaced season 1″s Yasuhito Kikuchi as the new director for “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” season 2.
If the anime gets renewed for season 3, the rest of the main voice cast will likely still appear to give life to the characters.
